What is TrailBlazer?

TrailBlazer is a React app that helps you discover biking trails near you. Just enter any location you like, and explore all the trails within a 100-mile radius.

TrailBlazer provides detailed trail information, from length and type of surface to accessibility, so you're fully prepared for an amazing ride.

This project is built with React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and OpenStreetMap data. It’s lightweight, interactive, and completely open source :)

Why Did I Make TrailBlazer?

Simply put, I love biking. It's been a passion of mine since COVID, and I'm always trying to find new trails or places to explore. I thought it would cool to make a program of my own to do just that.

Oh, and another thing. My longest bike rides have been to Krispy Kreme, arguably the best doughnut shop in the world. Bike 40 miles for them and you'll see for yourself.
